Description

BioThrust GmbH is a spin-off from RWTH Aachen University and develops innovative bioprocess technology. Its core vision is to develop a new-generation bioreactor for the cost-effective production of novel pharmaceuticals such as cell and gene therapies. The core innovation of the bioreactor is a disruptive membrane stirrer technology that allows bubble-free aeration of bioreactors with sufficient gas for the first time in the worls. Thanks to this low-shear cultivation, cell culture yields can be increased substantially.
